Our focus for the summer reading program is to encourage students to read on a daily basis and make reading an enjoyable experience. Your local library offers a wide variety of books at every reading level. We recommend that each student has his/her own library card and encourage participation in the summer programs offered at the library.
In addition to summer reading, we are asking that the students practice their math skills. The remaining pages in the Simple Solutions Math book issued to each student this year will provide ample practice. This will provide an excellent review of the math skills taught this year.
