School events for January 2023
Wednesday, January 4th - Students are to return to school for a full day.
Monday, January 16th - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. No school for students. Grades 3 - 8 are invited to participate in service projects organized by the Home & School Association from 9 am - 12:30 pm.
Sunday, January 29th - Friday, February 3rd - Catholic Schools Week. See emails for events during and after school this week.
Fifth Grade Supply List
Students must bring $4.00 with them on the first day to cover the cost of the purchase of an 8-pocket folder for school.
1 reusable, non-breakable water bottle that is no bigger than a 16-ounce bottle (and it should fit into the outside, side pocket of a bookbag) - students should plan on bringing in a filled water bottle daily
1 Pencil Case with zipper. (must be able to hold pens, pencils, and highlighters)
1 Academic planner or agenda book - This can be found at most office supply stores. Make sure it has space for six subjects per day and enough space to write down multiple assignments.
12 Marble lined copybooks No Spirals Copybooks allowed!
3 packs of Post-Its 1.5x2 in. or 3x3 in.
6 sharpened #2 pencils every day No personal pencil sharpeners allowed!
4 Dark blue or black pens ( no gel pens) for writing
2 red pens (no gel pens)
2 Highlighters
1 Art box (that must fit in desks)
Markers, crayons, scissors, glue stick, scotch tape, and colored pencils (kept in the art box)
12-inch ruler
2 packs of 100 index cards (3x5 in)
2 Dry erase markers
Clear contact paper to cover all workbooks (this will be required to be done during the first week of school)
*****Please write names on ALL student belongings inc. uniforms and jackets.
On the first day of school, each child is asked to bring in the following:
2 containers of Clorox wipes
1 Roll of Paper Towels
2 boxes of tissues
*Supplies may need to be replenished as the year progresses.
