Scripture, Divine Inspiration, Tradition, synagogues, Resurrection, Epistles, Gospels, Deposit of Faith, Magisterium.
Saint: St. Jerome- The patron saint of Scripture scholars
* All Faith words must be written with their definition in your copybook.
Test will be on Tuesday, October 4th.

This week we begin studying European Exploration into the Western Hemisphere.
SWBAT: explain the cause and effect of European exploration into the Americas, evaluate and analyze why Europeans began exploring the Western Hemisphere, and explain how this exploration led to the colonization and creation of new settlements.___________________________________________________________________________

This week we will continue studying the Civil War. We will read about the Battle of Bull Run and the life of the Civil War soldier. Students will read primary sources on the lives of real Civil War soldiers.
Students will be able to: describe what life was like for Civil War soldiers, analyze primary sources, and explain the cause and effect of the Battle of Bull Run

This week students will focus on geography and landforms of the world. We will do an overview of landforms and introduce new geographical features they have not encountered before.
Students will complete workbook pgs. 12-14 in class and for homework.
